Interview HandshakeGoing for a job interview can be a very stressful situation, making the right first impression is critical to your success in landing that dream job. Handling tricky questions, saying the right things, being composed, holding your nerve are all factors which contribute to success. The harsh reality is that the worlds financial problems remain unsolved. Unemployment in the UK is increasing and this is expected to continue until at least 2015, this means that job competition is more intense than ever.

For every job vacancy an employer can expect 70 applications, of these maybe 12 will be asked to participate in assessments or assignment exercises. Of these maybe only 5 will be asked for an interview and thats just for the one job.

    On the afternoon of the job interview skills training course you will undertake a mock interview, this will help you put into practice some of the techniques and skills you have learnt during the course. Then you will receive personal feedback and we can point out areas you need to improve when it comes to the real life job interview.
