This half day Interview Skills training course in Bridgend (and Online) covers a variety of topics which look at the most important aspects of job interview performance. Here are the topics which feature in the workshop and will be contained in your interview skills guide.
Part 1 provides an overview of the traditional and current interview models with a main focus on the behavioural interviewing approach. Participants will learn what to expect in a typical one to one and panel interview situations and understand the standard structure and format an interview will take.
Part 2 will enable participants to thoroughly plan and prepare for an interview. Working with example job descriptions the main focus of this element of the session will be the important issue of what questions to expect and how best to answer them. Participants will also learn how to conduct and present themselves in a competent and professional manner.
Part 3 will provide participants with the opportunity to use the knowledge gained and practice and master the skills and techniques learned in parts 1 and 2 in a simulated interview role play situation. Under the guidance of the course facilitator, participants will be encouraged to take on the roles of both interview candidate and interviewer to provide them with a balance perspective.
